Ownership

 YOU OWN YOUR DOMAIN NAME

While we may register your domain for you or transfer your existing domain to us in order to serve you better — you own your domain and are free to take it with you if you ever decide to go elsewhere.

YOU OWN YOUR WEBSITE

You also own your website and all of the content (text/media). If you ever decide to do business elsewhere, we will work with you to transfer your site. However, all custom designs are the intellectual property of Izelmedia and may not be sold, redistributed or given away. We ask that you respect the hard work we’ve put into your custom design.

FOOTER CREDIT

We include a small link in the footer to indicate your website was designed, built and/or maintained by Izelmedia. We’re proud of the work we do! If you would like this link to not be present, please let us know.

Support

We offer several Managed Hosting & Monthly Maintenance & Security Plans

These plans provide you with support for everything you need in a website plus access for technical support for an affordable fee. We keep your website up to date with the latest WordPress releases & plugin updates. Our Gold and Platinum Plans also give you up to 1 or 2 hours of technical support throughout any given month. 

We usually respond to technical support requests within 60 minutes.

Warranty

Websites built by Izelmedia are sold “as is”. Izelmedia hereby disclaim warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, use for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Izelmedia does not make any warranty the site will be error free or access will be continuous or uninterrupted.

You understand by hiring Izelmedia to build your website, you do so at your own discretion and risk. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Izelmedia, its contractors, and respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the site, including but not limited to your violation of these terms.

Izelmedia is not responsible for any conflicts due to WordPress updates, Divi updates or third party plugin updates.

Devices and Browsers

Izelmedia optimizes and supports our website builds for the latest version of Safari, Firefox, and Google Chrome. 

Izelmedia optimizes and supports our website builds on iPhone 7 and newer (4.7 inch screen size and above).

Custom Design

A 50% deposit is required upfront on all projects.

If you hire us for a custom website design project, we require 50% of the project cost upfront before any work begins. The remaining balance is due within the reasonable timeframe listed in the proposal or when the project is completed, whichever comes first. We will always aim to have your site completed within the reasonable timeframe listed in the proposal.

DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT REVISION POLICY

 All projects include up to 2 rounds of revisions per page wireframe during the design phase. Once a wireframe is approved, site development or custom design will begin and the approved wireframe will be built. Additional wireframe changes requested beyond this point will require an additional fee.

Once development is complete, 1 additional round of technical revisions is allowed to verify there are no bugs, all links are pointing correctly, and the website was built as designed and functions as expected.

Pricing & Fees

No hidden fees.

We are honest and straightforward about our prices. We occasionally have clients that have specific functionality requirements which entails additional costs and setup fees. If/when this is ever the case, we will outline everything for you in detail and present the cost for approval before the additional work starts.

Cancellation Policy

Managed Hosting and Monthly Maintenance & Security Plans

All Managed Hosting plans and Monthly Maintenance & Security Plans are billed on a recurring basis and may be canceled at any time with a 30-day written notice by either party. If you need assistance transferring your site to another provider, additional rates will apply and a specific quote will be provided at that time. Once your remaining balance has been processed and if applicable, once we’ve verified your new host has received all information, your account will be canceled with no further obligation.

Monthly fees are non-refundable.

Your monthly fees go towards paying your support costs each month. This is not just the support you ask for but our behind the scenes work as well. You’ll likely never notice, but throughout the month, we are constantly logging into your site to update your WordPress installation and plugins. Failing to do so could lead to all kinds of security loopholes that can compromise your website. Your website files and database are also backed up to ensure that in the event something happens, we have a stable backup of your site.

Initial deposits & setup fees are non-refundable.

These fees cover all setup costs (hosting, domain, design, etc) as well as time spent on your website project. The setup fee also goes to purchase additional design & development resources that may be needed for your project.

Hosting payments are non-refundable.

Please note, we do not offer refunds or pro-rated refunds of any kind for hosting services.
